About: Neil has been playing guitar since he was 11 years old and playing in bands since he was 14. He has worked for bands including U2, AC/DC, Divine Comedy, The Enemy & Corinne Bailey-Rae. He loves collecting vintage and retro stuff from the 50's & 60's and pride of place in his collection is a 1963 Lambretta scooter and a 1959 Ford Consul car. He is a proud Herefordian, lover of Wye Valley Ales and massive fan of Mott The Hoople.

Equipment: Neil has amassed quite a collection of guitars and his current main stage guitars are a 2005 Gibson Historic J45 and a '51 Relic Fender Telecaster.

For recording, along with the Tele & J45, he uses a Gibson '61 Re-issue 335 with Bigsby (ex. Noel Gallagher), a '77 Fender Telecaster Custom, a '69 Gibson SG Junior and a 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard. He used Ian Morgan's National Resonator for recording 'Shoot The Breeze' on Amplified Life Stories.

His main amp is a TopHat Club Royale (Handwired, Class A 20w) combo. He also uses an Orange Tiny Terror head and a Marshall TV Vintage 4x12 with 'Greenback' speakers. There is also a Marshall Slash Head in the studio for more 'heavy' tones.
